Established in 1987, Mayhem Paintball in Essex is now home to a total of 16 playing areas, including our Call of Duty map, wild woodland, and 3 floodlit playing areas.
Our site has been featured on a number of TV shows and boasts award-winning, incredibly detailed battlegrounds that are used, and loved, by professionals and amateurs alike.
Our paintball-zones are legendary. Designed by a professional paintballer, the battlegrounds feature an amazing level of detail & authenticity, complemented by the use of genuine military vehicles & props including real tanks, helicopters and planes.
Our real-life Call of Duty paintball zone, for example, features a genuine Russian T55 tank, a number of military Land Rovers, bombed-out shipping containers, and an array of military machinery that you won’t find anywhere else.
Our paintball equipment is cutting edge. We are the only UK venue to issue thermal safety goggles as standard – meaning that your goggles won’t steam up in the middle of a battle. You’ll also be issued with a ‘battle pack’, a semi-automatic paintball marker, and back and chest protectors available for women. This emphasis on high-quality paintball equipment ensures that you will have the best experience possible whilst visiting our centre.

Our Paintballing centre in Essex has 3 conference rooms available for hire – for the whole day, a half-day, or just for a party afterwards.

If you have over 20 players, you are guaranteed your own private game between you and your friends. Don’t worry if you have fewer players than that – we have lots of games running simultaneously, so you will always play with a group of people similar to yourselves.
